Berkeley Square
Mayfair
45 Berkeley Square is a Grade I Listed Georgian townhouse facing Berkeley Square, which was once the home of Clive of India.
The townhouse and an associated mews building at the rear of the plot were conserved, refurbished and brought back into use as high quality offices.
The spectacular period interiors were painstakingly restored to their former glory with many of the original features retained, including ornate fireplaces, decorative plasterwork to ceilings and cornices and wall panelling.
The greatest challenge was the integration of modern services within a historic structure which involved continuous consultation with Westminster City Council and Heritage England.
